In a major development and also good news for e-gamers, game will be making a comeback in new avatar, parent company PUBG Corporation announced on Thursday. The South Korean company will be re-entering the world’s second-largest internet market two months after the Indian government banned its marquee title. InsideSport had earlier reported that PUBG will likely return to India with a new partner after the South Korean gaming giant broke its ties with Tencent.

PUBG Corp announced that it will launch PUBG Mobile India which has been “”created specifically for the Indian market.” The game will maximize data security for its players and follow all the local regulations, the announcement said.

Moreover, there will be regular audits and verification on the storage systems to keep all the personal data safe.

PUBG Mobile India: What more features can gamers expect?

1) Corporation will also be improving in-game content and customize it to “reflect local needs”.

2) There will be a virtual simulation ground setting.

3) New characters and skins.

4) Green hit effects instead of red.

5) It will also add a feature to restrict game time for younger players.

Moreover, the developer is also planning on establishing a local office where it will hire over 100 employees to enhance customer service. “In addition to establishing a local office, the company will look to actively collaborate and leverage local businesses to strengthen its gaming service,” the developers added.

Lastly, the Corporation and parent company Krafton are planning to make $100 million (approximately Rs. 746 crores) investments in India to “cultivate the local video game, e-sports, entertainment, and IT industries.” As of now, the team has not shared a comeback date for game in India.
